Miller Brothers Express

Company History

Kris Miller and his brother Mark worked at a family owned meat packing plant known as Miller's Blue Ribbon Beef located in Hyrum, Utah.

The family business sold in the mid-eighties and Kris and Mark struck out on their own and started Miller Brothers Express in 1986. Their experience in the beef industry was a natural for starting the feedlot and cattle hauling operation. In March of 1987 they built their current facility. A full shop with four bays capable of almost any kind of repairs needed. Today the company remains a very diversified business.

As their business grew they then decided to expand into other types trucking operations. They first purchased four used tractors and within two years were running 15-20 power units. Today we run between 70 to 75 trucks and over 130 combinations of reefer, van and cattle trailers.

The trucking operation includes Refrigerated and Dry Van freight as well as the livestock hauling. Located at the Hyrum office is a full service logistics which is a major contributor to the company’s overall revenue. It continues to operate a fully functional cattle feed lot which at times has as many as six thousand head of cattle.
